Aspire People are delighted to be recruiting for a fantastic Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant opportunity at a welcoming and supportive primary school in Telford. This is a full-time, long-term position starting in September, with the potential for a permanent role for the right candidate.

The KS1 team is friendly, collaborative, and dedicated to ensuring every child receives the support they need to succeed. You will be working closely with teachers and other support staff to help deliver engaging, creative, and structured learning experiences across Year 1 and Year 2.
The pupils are described as enthusiastic, curious, and eager to learn, with a strong focus on building confidence, independence, and a love of learning in the early stages of their education.
✨ What the role involves:
* Supporting teaching and learning within KS1 (Year 1 & Year 2)
* Providing 1:1 and small group support where required
* Assisting with phonics, reading, and early literacy/numeracy
* Supporting classroom behaviour and engagement
* Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
* Working closely with the class teacher and wider KS1 team
