The successful Customer Service Administrator should have:
Previous experience within customer service, administration or a similar office-based role
Good communication and relationship-building skills
Strong Excel skills, with confidence working with spreadsheets and customer/order data
Excellent organisation and attention to detail
A proactive, customer-focused approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities
In this role, the Customer Service Administrator will be responsible for:
Processing and managing customer orders from initial enquiry through to completion
Acting as a key point of contact for customers, providing updates and resolving queries
Liaising with customers, suppliers and internal teams to ensure orders progress smoothly
Maintaining accurate customer records and using Excel to manage, analyse and report on order information
Using Sage for order processing and general customer administration
Monitoring deliveries and supporting the resolution of any issues or delays
