Operations Administrator / Co-ordinator - Construction - Reading - Up to £32,000

Are you an experienced Operations Administrator or Co-ordinator with a background in construction, looking for a varied role supporting busy site and operational teams?
My client is a well-established construction business seeking an organised and proactive Operations Administrator to support the day-to-day running of its projects and site operations. You will play a key role in keeping labour, plant, purchasing and site information organised and up to date.
This is an opportunity to join a busy construction environment where you will have a varied workload, work closely with site teams and become an important part of the wider operations function.
As an Operations Administrator, you will be:
·Maintaining subcontractor timesheets and ensuring records are accurate and up to date
·Managing information received from the company's site app and ensuring relevant data is recorded correctly
·Maintaining daily operational calendars and schedules
·Booking plant, equipment and direct labour for live projects
·Supporting purchasing activities across the business
·Raising and managing purchase orders, including POs for plant, materials and services
·Liaising with site teams, subcontractors, suppliers and internal departments
·Monitoring operational paperwork and maintaining accurate project records
·Supporting the coordination of labour and resources across different sites
·Assisting with general administration and operational tasks as required
To be considered for this Operations Administrator position, you will need:
·Previous administration, coordination or operations experience within the construction industry
·Experience dealing with subcontractors, site teams or construction-related suppliers
·Good organisational skills and the ability to manage several priorities at once
·Strong attention to detail, particularly when dealing with timesheets, purchase orders and site records
·Confidence using IT systems, spreadsheets and construction or site-based applications
·Good communication skills and a practical, proactive approach to problem solving
The salary for this position is up to £32,000, dependent on experience.
Based in Reading, this role would suit someone who understands the pace and requirements of a construction environment and enjoys keeping projects organised behind the scenes. You will have the opportunity to build on your existing construction experience while developing your knowledge across operations, purchasing and resource coordination.
