The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.
A leading manufacturer is looking for an experienced Logistics Administrator to join their busy operations team.
As a Logistics Administrator, you will be responsible for coordinating UK and international shipments, ensuring products are delivered safely, on time and in the most cost-effective manner. Working closely with multiple departments, you will manage transport arrangements, prepare export documentation and provide outstanding customer service while ensuring compliance with shipping and customs regulations.
As a Logistics Administrator, your duties will include:
Coordinate the dispatch of UK and international customer orders, ensuring deliveries are completed on time and in line with agreed lead times
Arrange cost-effective transport solutions and manage relationships with freight providers, customers, suppliers and internal teams
Prepare and process all transport and export documentation, ensuring compliance with customs regulations and shipping legislation
Manage customer enquiries and provide administrative support to the sales team, delivering a high standard of customer service
Coordinate warehouse pick and pack priorities to ensure efficient order fulfilment and dispatch
Produce and analyse weekly and monthly KPI reports to support operational performance and continuous improvement
To be successful in the role of Logistics Administrator, you will have:
Previous experience within a logistics, transport, shipping or supply chain coordination role
Strong customer service and administrative experience
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience liaising with customers, suppliers, freight providers and internal teams
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with ERP system experience desirable; previous Sage experience would be advantageous
