We are currently recruiting experienced Carpenters for a workshop based in NG23 7DG, working with a leading events company.
This role involves the construction and assembly of a variety of bespoke event structures, including theatres, stages, cabins, and other temporary installations. You will be required to work from technical drawings and use your carpentry skills to build high-quality structures to specification.
Key Responsibilities:
* Building theatres, stages, cabins, and bespoke event structures
* Reading and interpreting technical drawings
* Measuring, cutting, and assembling timber components
* Using hand and power tools safely and effectively
* Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard
* Working efficiently as part of a team to meet project deadlines
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Carpenter
* Ability to read and work from technical drawings
* Experience constructing bespoke timber structures
* Own tools preferred
* Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
* Reliable with a good work ethic
* Ability to work 12-hour shifts
