Friday onlyAbout the SchoolThis is a specialist secondary provision supporting pupils with a wide range of additional needs and diagnoses. The school caters for students with complex needs, including some pupils who are non-verbal and many who use wheelchairs. As part of the role, you will be required to provide personal care and support students with their day-to-day needs.
The RoleYou will work closely with teaching staff to:
Support students with a range of SEN needs
Assist with learning activities in and out of the classroom
Provide personal care where required
Promote student independence and wellbeing
Create a positive and inclusive learning environmentWe Are Looking For
Caring, patient and resilient individuals
Experience working with SEN, care, education or support settings is desirable
A willingness to assist with personal care
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Individuals available to start as soon as possibleWorking Hours8:40am - 3:45pmContractFixed-term until August 2027
