Francesca’s Recruitment Ltd is pleased to be recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced and commercially driven Digital Marketing Executive (SEO & Paid Search). This is a key permanent hire for a forward-thinking organisation seeking a specialist who can take full ownership of both organic search performance and paid search strategy, delivering measurable digital growth.
This role is ideal for a results-focused marketer with strong SEO expertise and hands-on Google Ads experience, looking to step into a position with real responsibility, autonomy and long-term progression.
The Role
As Digital Marketing Executive, you will lead the development, delivery and optimisation of SEO and paid search activity. You will be responsible for improving organic visibility, driving qualified traffic, and managing paid campaigns that deliver a strong return on investment.
Search Engine Optimization

Develop and implement SEO strategies to improve rankings and increase organic traffic.
*
Optimise website content, structure and technical performance using HubSpot CMS.
*
Conduct keyword research, on-page optimisation, link building and technical SEO improvements.
Google Ads & Paid Search
*
Plan, build and manage Google Ads campaigns across Search, Performance Max, Display and remarketing.
*
Manage daily budgets, CPC and CPL while maximising ROI.
*
Conduct keyword and audience research, write and test ad copy, and maintain negative keyword lists.
*
Set up and maintain conversion tracking across Google Ads, GA4 and HubSpot.
*
Run structured A/B tests on ad copy, landing pages and bidding strategies.
*
Optimise landing pages for quality score, relevance and conversion rate.
Analytics & Reporting
Monitor performance using Google Analytics, Google Search Console and Google Ads reporting.
Produce clear, actionable performance reports across organic and paid channels.
Balance investment between SEO and paid search to deliver the strongest overall return.
Content & Project Delivery
Create high-quality copy for web pages, blogs, email campaigns and social media.
Coordinate digital marketing projects, website updates and content creation.
Ensure deadlines are met through strong organisation and time management.
About You
We are seeking a confident digital marketer with strong SEO capability and proven Google Ads experience.
Essential Skills & Experience
Solid understanding of SEO best practice (keyword research, on-page optimisation, link building, technical SEO).
Hands-on experience managing Google Ads campaigns, including Search and Performance Max.
Confident managing paid media budgets and reporting on CPL, ROI and ROAS.
Working knowledge of conversion tracking across Google Ads, GA4 and Google Tag Manager.
Proficiency with HubSpot CMS for website updates and content management.
Strong analytical skills using GA4 and other reporting tools.
Excellent copywriting skills for B2B audiences.
Knowledge of social media management platforms.
Competence in AI tools for basic image editing and visual content creation.
Strong communication skills and organisational ability.
IT literate with a good grasp of website performance tools and email marketing platforms.
Desirable
Google Ads certification (Search and/or Measurement).
Experience running paid search in a B2B or long sales-cycle environment.
