TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream Primary School in Chesterfield, which has been rated ‘Good’ by OFSTED and provides a positive environment for pupils to learn and develop. The school also benefits from a Forest School provision, offering children opportunities to develop their learning through outdoor experiences.
The school is looking to take on a committed Primary Teacher on a long-term basis from September. The successful Primary Teacher will be responsible for leading the class, delivering engaging lessons in line with the Primary Curriculum, managing classroom behaviour and liaising effectively with Teaching Assistants to support pupil progress.
The successful Primary Teacher will have:
QTS (ECTs are also welcomed to apply)
Primary teaching experience in the UK
Sound knowledge of the Primary Curriculum
Excellent classroom management
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with Teaching Assistants
A positive and adaptable approach to teaching
