How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

• Support pupils communication, emotional regulation, independence and social development
• Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants and wider staff to deliver targeted interventions
• Liaise effectively with parents, carers and external professionals to ensure joined-up support
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour, learning and pupil wellbeing

The Ideal Candidate Will Have
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Proven experience teaching pupils with SEND within a primary, ARP or specialist setting
• Strong understanding of inclusive teaching strategies and SEND best practice
• The ability to adapt provision to support pupils with varying learning profiles and needs
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• A calm, patient and nurturing approach
• Commitment to working collaboratively with families and professionals
• A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs to achieve their potential

What the School Offers
• A welcoming, caring and inclusive school community
• Supportive leadership team with a strong focus on staff wellbeing
• Well-resourced ARP provision and excellent support staff
• Opportunities for ongoing CPD and SEND specialist development
• Collaborative working environment where inclusion is at the heart of practice
• The chance to make a lasting impact on pupils lives and development

Salary & Benefits
• Competitive salary: £37,870 - £56,154 (M1 – U3)
