A recognised main contractor specialising in the affordable housing sector is looking to appoint an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their growing commercial team.
The business has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality refurbishment and remediation projects for housing associations and local authorities across London and the surrounding regions. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work, they are now looking to strengthen their commercial team with the appointment of a Quantity Surveyor.
The Role
As Quantity Surveyor, you will take commercial responsibility for refurbishment and remediation projects from procurement through to final account, working closely with operational teams to ensure projects are delivered successfully.
Key responsibilities will include:

Managing project costs and commercial performance
*
Preparing and submitting valuations and variations
*
Procuring and managing subcontractor packages
*
Producing cost reports and forecasts
*
Managing subcontractor accounts through to final account
*
Supporting the wider project team to ensure successful delivery of works
Projects
You will work across a range of social and affordable housing refurbishment programmes, including:

Cladding remediation projects
*
Planned refurbishment works
*
Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund (SHDF) programmes
*
External envelope and energy efficiency upgrades
