The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

What You'll Be Doing
As a Systems Engineer, you will work across complex mechanical and hydraulic aircraft systems, helping to ensure products meet performance, safety and certification requirements throughout the development lifecycle.
Key responsibilities include:
Developing computational models and conducting system simulations
Performing static and dynamic load calculations
Conducting performance, frequency response, modal and stability analyses
Investigating shimmy behaviour and failure scenarios
Correlating and validating models against test data
Defining and validating system performance requirements
Creating simulation test cases and establishing pass/fail criteria
Collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams to optimise system designs
Supporting test activities and interpreting results
Ensuring delivery against programme schedules, quality standards and cost targets
What We're Looking For
Essential Skills & Experience
Degree (or equivalent qualification) in an Engineering discipline
Experience in systems modelling, analysis and simulation
Knowledge of landing gear extension and retraction systems
Experience analysing shock absorber performance
Understanding of recoil analysis, system loads generation and model integration
Experience conducting shimmy and stability analysis
Proficiency in industry-standard tools such as:
MATLAB/Simulink
MSC ADAMS
AMESim
Strong understanding of mechanical principles and dynamic system behaviour
Ability to interpret requirements and translate them into robust engineering solutions
