You will work as part of the ICT Business Applications team, providing technical expertise, business analysis, and quality assurance across the full application lifecycle, with a strong focus on Microsoft 365 technologies and integrated systems.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide 2nd line support for business applications, working collaboratively with the wider ICT team to deliver a consistent and high-quality service.
• Design and develop business solutions using Microsoft 365 tools, including Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint, and Dynamics.
• Work closely with third-party software providers to resolve incidents and deliver system enhancements.
• Support application upgrades and patching, including leading User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and maintaining comprehensive test scripts.
• Collaborate with governance teams and data owners to implement and maintain data retention policies across systems.
• Perform system administration tasks, including user access management, maintenance, and configuration changes.
• Act as the ICT lead on business projects, providing technical expertise and supporting process design, solution delivery, and implementation.
• Identify opportunities for system improvements and efficiencies to enhance business processes.
• Investigate and recommend new technologies and solutions aligned to organisational requirements.
• Develop and deliver training materials, user guides, and support documentation for new systems and enhancements.
• Prepare and present security and access reports, ensuring appropriate controls are maintained.
• Participate in user groups, product webinars, and networking forums to share knowledge and promote best practice.
Skills & Experience Required
• Proven experience supporting, maintaining, and implementing integrated business applications.
• Strong understanding of CRM systems, data structures, integrations, and digital technologies.
• Experience in business systems analysis, including requirements gathering, process mapping, and process improvement.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver multiple projects and tasks to deadlines, maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to challenge and validate requirements to fully understand business needs.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a good understanding of the wider Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
Desirable Experience
• Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Experience working with housing sector applications and users.
• Hands-on experience developing solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform.
Qualifications
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience supporting and implementing business applications.
• Project or Change Management qualification (desirable but not essential).
