Design Manager
Location: Ipswich, Suffolk
Salary: Salary Negotiable Depending on Experience
We are seeking an experienced Design Manager to join a successful regional main contractor delivering projects across the education, healthcare, commercial, residential and public sectors.
Responsibilities
* Manage the design process from pre-construction through to project completion.
* Coordinate consultants, subcontractors and project teams.
* Ensure design information is delivered on time and to programme.
* Review technical drawings and design submissions.
* Identify and manage design risks and buildability issues.
* Support project delivery and pre-construction teams.
Requirements
* Previous Design Manager experience with a main contractor.
* Strong technical and construction knowledge.
* Good understanding of Building Regulations and construction processes.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Full UK driving licence.
