Our client requires 2–4 experienced Pipe Fitters for an urgent contract role on a large commercial site in Kings Cross, London, with a start needed this Friday.
This is a fast-paced Pipe Fitter opportunity focused on ironwork and steel screwed barrel / screw machine pipework – this is not a general plumbing role, and only Pipe Fitters with genuine hands-on experience in this type of work should apply.
The Role:
* Working on a large, high-profile commercial site
* Physically demanding environment with significant walking and moving of pipework through the building
* Initial requirement is to help hit a near-term delivery deadline (approx. 1 week)
* Strong potential for the assignment to extend for the right candidates – possibly several weeks, with further work opportunities beyond that
Hours:
* 07:00–15:00 (8-hour day)
* Overtime, weekend, and night work may be available
What We're Looking For:
* Proven Pipe Fitter experience with ironwork and steel screwed barrel / screw machine pipework
* Ability to work at pace on a large, demanding site
* A hungry, productive attitude – ready to hit the ground running
* Plumbing experience is an advantage but not essential
* Candidates open to longer-term work, including potential future opportunities outside London, will be well placed for ongoing assignments
This is an urgent requirement with a fast turnaround – strong Pipe Fitters who perform well are very likely to be retained for follow-on work.
