The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.
Morson Edge are currently seeking a GOLDesp Co-ordinator on a permanent basis to be based at RNAS Yeovilton.
JOB PURPOSE ACTIVITIES AND TASKS
GOLDesp Technical administration and Task Planning.
Undergo on-the-job training toward achieving Engineering Controller Authorisations under direct supervision of the Engineering Controller/s
Administration of GOLDesp/MoD Form 700C aircraft documentation for allocated aircraft.
Completing GOLDesp procedures IAW Wildcat Maintenance Support (WMS) OP 408 and JAP(D)100A-0409-01 series publications.
Short-term maintenance planning using GOLDesp as directed by the Engineering Controller/Manager.
Progress MF760 and MF765 in accordance with WMS OP 313 and OP 461.
Job planning and the allocation of resources to aircraft, GSE, MHE and Hangar facilities.
Other tasks as directed by the Engineering Controller or Manager.
Assist in the Quality Control process for all paperwork generated by Wildcat Base Maintenance (WBM) (QA2) as directed.
Compile, submit and monitor progress of Technical Queries (TQs) in conjunction with Aircraft Controller.
SECTION 3 – KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Qualified to at least ONC in aeronautical engineering having served an aviation engineering apprenticeship, or where no ONC or equivalent held, a minimum 5 years’ relevant experience, preferably within a military aviation environment, with GOLDesp experience for at least 2 years.
A full understanding of all aspects of Military aircraft engineering and documentation.
A full understanding of Military aircraft operation in base and field locations.
Current and competent in the use of GOLDesp.
