The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

I am currently recruiting for a Flavour Technologist to join a global leader in nutritional ingredients at their innovation site in Kent. This is a fantastic opportunity for a creative, "hands-on" technologist to take ownership of flavour development for some of the biggest names in the fitness and wellness industry.
The Role
Working within a high-spec laboratory, you will focus on the end-to-end development of ready-to-mix (RTM) supplements. You will be tasked with the challenge of turning functional active ingredients, like protein and amino acids, into delicious, market-ready beverages.
Key Responsibilities
* Formulation: Create and refine flavour profiles for protein powders, pre-workouts, and functional drinks using an extensive ingredient library.
* Technical Problem Solving: Analyse active ingredient interactions and find creative solutions to mask off-notes and optimise taste.
* Project Management: Manage customer submissions, incorporate feedback, and ensure prototypes are delivered within tight commercial timelines.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a technical point of contact for flavour suppliers and customers, attending meetings and trade shows where required.
* Compliance & Quality: Ensure all formulations meet regulatory standards for their specific target markets and support first-production runs at manufacturing sites.
Your Skills & Experience
* Hold a BSc in Food Science, Food Chemistry, or a related technical field.
* 1–2 years of experience in beverage development (ideally within RTM or functional drinks).
* Confident in unit conversions and complex formulation work.
* Possesses a refined palate and a genuine passion for food and drink trends.
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
