Principal People are working with a leading Tier 1 infrastructure contractor to recruit a Health and Safety Advisor supporting a major framework across Kent and Sussex.
With a significant pipeline of secured work across projects of varying scale, including major schemes valued at £70m+, this is an opportunity to join an established H&S team and work closely with operational teams throughout the project lifecycle, from planning and pre-construction through to delivery.
They are looking for someone with strong Tier 1 construction or infrastructure experience who can take a practical, forward-thinking approach and bring a wider project understanding rather than focusing purely on compliance.

* CPD, Development & Progression Support
* Hybrid working with 1 day per week from home

* Supporting projects through planning, pre-construction, mobilisation and delivery.
* Conducting site inspections, audits and HS&E reviews.
* Reviewing RAMS, Construction Phase Plans and project documentation.
* Supporting incident investigations and continuous improvement.
* Building strong relationships with operational teams, clients and supply-chain partners.
What they are looking for:
* NEBOSH Construction or General Certificate, or equivalent.
* Experience within a Tier 1 contractor environment is strongly preferred.
