The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Production Planner to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Eye. Working closely with the Senior Production Planner and wider operational teams, you will play a key role in ensuring production schedules are maintained efficiently, materials are available when required, and customer demands are met on time.
Key Responsibilities

Create, maintain and monitor production schedules to ensure efficient workflow across the manufacturing operation.

Utilise the company's ERP system to manage production plans, maintain stock accuracy, and ensure all data remains up to date.

Plan, schedule, release and progress work orders through the production process.

Liaise with production, purchasing, stores and other departments to ensure smooth operational performance.
*
Identify potential bottlenecks, delays or shortages and proactively implement solutions.
*
Monitor production progress and communicate any issues that may impact delivery schedules.
*
Maintain accurate planning records and system data.
*
Support continuous improvement initiatives within the planning and production functions.
*
Deliver excellent service and communication to both internal and external stakeholders.
About You
The successful candidate will possess:

Previous experience in a Production Planner, Materials Planner, Supply Chain Planner or similar role.
*
Experience working within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
*
Strong ERP/MRP system experience.
*
Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
*
High attention to detail and accuracy.

Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across multiple departments.

Good IT and administrative skills.
*
