How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Sales Executive

    Are you from an internal sales/estimator background, looking to join a well-established business who have a great reputation for looking after their staff through ongoing development opportunities and a great work-life balance?

    The company are specialists in within the engineering industry and have an excellent reputation for taking care of their workforce. They are looking to expand further and add another ambitious member to the team.

    In this varied role, you will prepare and manage quotations, collaborating closely with the sales team to deliver accurate proposals on time. You will liaise with distributors and internal departments to confirm customer requirements while maintaining accurate pricing, cost, and quotation records.

    This role will suit someone from a sales/estimator background, looking to join a great business who will support you through every step of your career, whilst offering a variety of development opportunities.

    The Role:
    - Sales Executive / Estimator
    - Manage & deliver proposals on time
    - Monday to Friday (9am - 5pm)

    The Person:
    - Background in internal sales
    - Experience in estimating/quotations
    - Commutable to Eye
