We are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a highly regarded specialist school in Ware for a passionate and motivated Food Technology Teacher to join their team from September 2026.
This is an exciting opportunity for a Food Technology Teacher in Ware to make a genuine difference to the lives of pupils with Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), and additional complex needs.
The successful Food Technology Teacher will deliver engaging, practical lessons that develop independence, confidence and essential life skills through cooking, nutrition and food preparation activities.
Salary: MPS1 - MPS6 + Fringe Allowance + SEN Allowance
Location: Ware
Contract: Permanent, Full Time
Start Date: September 2026
About the Role
As a Food Technology Teacher in Ware, you will:
Plan and deliver engaging Food Technology lessons tailored to pupils with complex needs
Promote independence and life skills through practical learning
Adapt learning to meet a wide range of cognitive, sensory and physical needs
Work closely with Teaching Assistants, therapists and families

Hold QTS
