Workshop Supervisor (Day Shift)(Commercial Vehicle Worksop)
We currently have a vacancy for a Workshop Supervisor to join our busy Brighouse Depot.
Shift Options 42 Hour Week
4 on 4 off patten working Hours 7am to 7pm
Basic Salary = £47,000 + Overtime (Opportunity to earn well into the 50's)
The Workshop Supervisor Role
People Management
·Supervising technicians, apprentices, and workshop staff.
·Allocating work based on skill level and priorities.
·Monitoring attendance, timekeeping, and performance.
·Conducting toolbox talks and one-to-one meetings.
·Supporting training and development.
Workshop Operations
·Planning daily workflow and scheduling repairs.
·Ensuring work is completed on time and to manufacturer or company standards.
·Managing workshop capacity and resource allocation.
·Liaising with service advisors, parts departments, and fleet customers.
·Monitoring work-in-progress and removing bottlenecks.
Requirements
The core skills and qualifications required for a the Workshop Supervisor are:
·Appropriate technical qualifications.
·Time Served Tech or NVQ C&G Level 3 in Motor Vehicle Repairs
·MOT preparation experience
·Supervisory Experience in a Commercial Vehicle Worksop
