Security & Pastoral Officer

Location: Rotherham
Job Type: Temporary (3 Months)
Hours: Full-Time (37 hours per week)
Pay Rate: Dependent on Experience

Morgan Jones is recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading Further Education college, for an experienced Security & Pastoral Officer to join their team on a temporary 3-month contract.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced security professional who enjoys working with young people and is passionate about creating a safe, secure, and supportive learning environment.

The Role

As a Security & Pastoral Officer, you will play a key role in maintaining the safety and security of the college campus while supporting the wellbeing of students, staff, and visitors. You will respond to incidents, carry out regular patrols, monitor CCTV systems, and provide a visible and approachable presence across the campus.

The Ideal Candidate

To be successful in this role, you will have:

* Previous experience working in a security role.

* Experience working within an educational setting or with young and/or vulnerable people is highly desirable.

* A valid SIA Licence.

* A CCTV Operator Licence.

* Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills.

* The ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations.

* A proactive and approachable attitude.
