Quick Staff UK is recruiting on behalf of a long-established and highly respected manufacturer. Supplying major retailers across the UK and internationally, our client is seeking an organised and proactive Purchasing Coordinator / Buyer to join their procurement team.Working closely with the Production Manager, you'll play a key role in ensuring materials and products are available when needed, supporting production schedules and helping deliver excellent service to customers. Key Responsibilities:

* Support purchasing and procurement activities to ensure the timely supply of products and materials

* Assist with forecasting and stock level planning

* Build strong relationships with suppliers and understand their production capabilities

* Coordinate shipping schedules and maximise container utilisation

* Support new product launches and manage reprint requirements

* Maintain accurate purchasing and stock records across internal systems

* Liaise with internal departments to ensure production deadlines are achieved

* Produce and analyse reports using Excel

* Identify opportunities to improve efficiency within the supply chain

Key Requirements:

* Previous experience within purchasing, procurement, buying or supply chain

* Experience of forecasting, stock control or inventory planning

* Strong Microsoft Excel skills

* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills

* A confident communicator who enjoys building supplier relationships

* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment

* Experience within an FMCG or manufacturing environment would be advantageous
