We are currently recruiting for a Temporary Receptionist / Front of House Administrator to join a busy and professional organisation in Glasgow. This is a fantastic opportunity for a friendly, well-presented, and organised individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys a varied role combining reception and administration duties.
As the first point of contact for visitors and callers, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the front office while supporting the wider team with administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities
Meeting and welcoming visitors in a professional and friendly manner
Answering and directing incoming telephone calls
Managing the reception area and ensuring it remains tidy and organised.
Handling incoming and outgoing post, deliveries, and couriers
Booking and preparing meeting rooms as required
Maintaining accurate records and updating internal systems
Assisting with filing, scanning, and document management
Ordering office supplies and monitoring stock levels
Supporting the wider team with general office administration tasksSkills & Experience Required
Previous experience in a Reception, Front of House, or administrative role
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Professional and confident telephone manner
Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
Positive, proactive, and reliable approach to work
Strong customer service focus and professional presentation
