The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Metrology Engineer to join our clients Operations Team on a 6-month contract basis. This is a fully site-based role supporting precision measurement, quality assurance, and continuous improvement activities across production and operational processes.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the precision and accuracy of products through robust metrology practices, detailed inspections, and effective collaboration with engineering, quality, and production teams.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage operational measurement requirements including moulding validations, in-process inspections, and non-conformance investigations.
* Program and operate Zeiss CMM equipment using Calypso software.
* Request and support required fixturing and perform Measurement System Analysis (MSA).
* Collaborate closely with Verification Services teams to support qualification transitions from operational qualification to production qualification.
* Conduct precise measurements of products and components using a variety of metrology tools and equipment.
* Inspect products and components to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.
* Analyse measurement data to identify trends, inconsistencies, and opportunities for improvement.
* Maintain accurate documentation and detailed quality records for inspections, calibrations, and measurement activities.
* Ensure compliance with industry standards, quality procedures, and regulatory requirements.
* Troubleshoot and resolve measurement-related issues and discrepancies.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives across engineering, production, and quality functions.
* Provide guidance and training to colleagues on metrology practices and equipment usage.
Skills & Experience Required
* Proven experience in a Metrology Engineer or similar precision measurement role.
* Strong experience programming and operating Zeiss CMM machines using Calypso software.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, GD&T, and engineering specifications.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* High attention to detail and accuracy.
* Strong communication and documentation skills.
* Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office and specialist metrology software.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Desirable
* Ideal relevant qualifications or certifications in Metrology, Engineering, or Quality Assurance.
* Experience within a regulated manufacturing or laboratory environment.
