About the Opportunity
micro1 is engaging experienced Training & Development Specialists to contribute to a customer project focused on learning program design and delivery.
In this role, you will apply your expertise in training, instructional design, adult learning, educational content development, and assessment design to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will provide high-quality, real-world examples of how effective learning programs are structured, delivered, assessed, and improved.
No prior AI experience is required. Your learning-design expertise, communication skills, and ability to create practical learner-focused programs are what matter most.
Responsibilities
- Define clear, measurable learning objectives tailored to specific audiences, roles, and program requirements.
- Design structured learning programs that connect objectives with appropriate modules, activities, learning resources, and assessments.
- Develop engaging educational content, including instructional materials, presentations, guides, exercises, and digital learning resources.
- Create basic assessment tools such as quizzes, rubrics, knowledge checks, and evaluation activities to measure learner progress.
- Ensure learning activities and assessments are appropriately aligned with defined learning outcomes.
- Adapt educational content and program structures for diverse audiences and digital or remote learning environments.
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to clarify requirements and maintain alignment throughout the program lifecycle.
- Review feedback and iteratively improve learning programs, instructional materials, and assessment approaches.
- Document learning-design processes, methodologies, and best practices to support consistency and knowledge sharing.
- Provide clear written and verbal communication throughout the project.
- Contribute domain expertise that helps AI systems better understand effective training and development practices.
Required Qualifications
- Professional experience in training and development, instructional design, learning and development, adult learning, education, or a related field.
- Strong ability to define clear learning objectives and measurable outcomes.
- Experience designing structured learning programs or educational experiences.
- Ability to create effective educational and instructional content.
- Working knowledge of basic assessment design, including quizzes and rubrics.
- Strong understanding of aligning learning objectives, activities, content, and assessments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate effectively in a remote environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple deliverables and adapt to changing project requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise in training, instructional design, adult learning, learning experience design, or organizational development.
- Experience developing learning programs for diverse professional or organizational audiences.
- Experience creating digital or remote learning materials.
- Strong understanding of learning-outcome development and instructional alignment.
- Experience designing quizzes, rubrics, knowledge checks, or other learner assessments.
- Ability to translate complex concepts into clear, accessible educational content.
- Experience iterating learning programs based on learner or stakeholder feedback.
- Strong project-management and documentation skills.
- Proactive, detail-oriented approach with a focus on learner-centered outcomes.
