We’re working with an established independent hospitality business in the Wokingham area who are looking for a passionate and reliable Chef de Partie to join their kitchen team.
This is a great opportunity for a chef who takes real pride in their food, enjoys working with fresh, seasonal ingredients and wants to continue developing within a supportive and professional kitchen environment.
The role
Working as part of an experienced kitchen team, you’ll take responsibility for your section and play an important part in delivering consistently high standards throughout service.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Preparing, cooking and presenting dishes to a consistently high standard
* Taking ownership of your section during preparation and service
* Ensuring quality and presentation standards are maintained
* Keeping your section organised, clean and well prepared
* Monitoring stock levels and supporting effective stock control
* Maintaining excellent food hygiene and safety standards
* Working closely with the wider kitchen team during busy services
* Supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive kitchen environment
About you
We’re looking for someone who is passionate about cooking and comfortable working within a busy fresh-food kitchen.
You’ll ideally have:
* Previous experience as a Chef de Partie within a fresh-food restaurant, hotel or similar environment
* Confidence running your own section
* Strong preparation, cooking and presentation skills
* A good understanding of food hygiene and kitchen safety
* The ability to remain organised and calm during busy services
* A positive, reliable and team-focused approach
* A genuine interest in quality ingredients and developing your skills further

Hours & package
£32,000 – £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
This is a permanent, full-time position within a busy hospitality operation, and flexibility to work evenings and weekends will be required.
