X2 Personal Care Assistant’s Required in Crewe, CW1
£14.25 per hour – 12 hour day and £114.25 (block payment) night shifts.
PLEASE NOTE - My assistant will need to have access to their own car with business insurance cover and have a clean driving license.
I am 34 years young, I have a good sense of humor, and I am registered blind. I need support from my Personal Assistant so that I can be as independent as possible. I have 2 young children. It is very important to me that my personal assistant who supports me is happy to work with children and is an animal lover.
I am creative and I enjoy making crafts such as card making and scrapbooking. I also enjoy gardening and will require support from my personal assistant to assist me with my hobbies and interests.
Main Duties
• To assist me with meal preparation and cooking.
To assist me with general household chores such as housework and laundry.
• To take me out in the personal assistants' own car to support me with social interaction or to attend appointments. *Own car and business insurance required*
• To support me with my hobbies and interests.
To assist me with shopping when required.
• Night shifts may also be required as and when this is needed.
• To support me looking after my young children – This will include general duties to support me with this, such as assisting to take my child to nursery and back, helping with changing nappies etc.
The main duties identified in the job description are examples of the expectations required; I may on occasions reasonably request additional activities to be undertaken inside or outside of the home.
Personal Assistant Specification
Driving licence with own transport.
DBS check will be required.
Assistant must be honest, trustworthy, and reliable.
My assistant must respect my privacy and always maintain my dignity.
My assistant must be enthusiastic and flexible with a caring disposition.
You must be able to work well independently.
My personal assistant is accountable to me in all aspects of their work. They should always ask what my needs are and listen to my directions and requests.
