We are seeking a talented CNC Turner (Large Turning) to join our growing Aerospace client in Sheffield.
What You'll Do:
As a CNC Turner, you will play a pivotal role their manufacturing process.
Your expertise will help them create high-quality components that drive success.
Here's what you can expect:
Set up and operate CNC turning machines with precision and care.
Interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure accuracy.
Monitor and inspect the machining process to maintain quality standards.
Collaborate with team members to optimise production efficiency.
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during machining.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
What We're Looking For:
We are on the hunt for someone who is not just skilled but also enthusiastic about their work! Here are the qualifications we hope to see:
Proven experience as a CNC Turner, particularly with large turning operations.
Proficiency in reading technical drawings and understanding machining principles.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Relevant CNC programming experience is a plus (Fanuc, Haas, etc.).
A positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow within the company.
