Aspire People are looking for a committed **Level 2 Teaching Assistant** to support targeted interventions within a primary school setting. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with small groups and helping pupils boost their confidence and attainment.
You will play a key role in delivering structured interventions, particularly in **phonics, reading, writing, and maths**, helping pupils close gaps in their learning.
**The Role:**
* Delivering small-group intervention sessions across KS1 or KS2
* Supporting pupils who require additional academic support
* Working alongside the class teacher to identify learning gaps
* Monitoring pupil progress and feeding back to staff
* Supporting classroom learning when not leading interventions
* Encouraging pupil confidence and engagement
**The Ideal Candidate:**
* Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
* Experience delivering interventions or booster sessions
* Strong understanding of phonics and basic numeracy strategies
* Patient, encouraging, and supportive approach
* Ability to build positive relationships with pupils
