Are you a recent graduate looking to gain valuable experience in education? We are currently recruiting a Graduate Teaching Assistant to join a supportive secondary school in North London from September.
This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate who is passionate about working with young people and is considering a future career in teaching, education, psychology, or a related field.
Key responsibilities:
- Supporting students in the classroom and during learning activities
- Providing 1:1 and small-group support where required
- Assisting teachers with classroom activities and student engagement
- Supporting students with their academic progress and confidence
- Helping maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Supporting pupils with a range of learning needs, including SEND
The ideal candidate will have:
- A degree in any subject, with relevant subjects such as English, Maths, Science, Psychology or Humanities particularly welcome
- A genuine interest in education and working with young people
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A patient, proactive and supportive approach
- The ability to build positive relationships with students
