TeacherActive is proud to be working with a Secondary school in Derby to appoint a Maths Teacher. The college is renowned as a fantastic place to work and has produced some of the country’s leading music and music production talent.
The successful Maths Teacher will work on a full-time, long-term basis, supporting learners aged 11 to 16. The role will involve planning and delivering engaging GCSE Maths lessons, marking students’ work and preparing learners for their GCSE examinations.
The successful Maths teacher will have:
• A relevant teaching qualification or equivalent experience
• Experience delivering GCSE Maths
• Strong lesson planning and marking skills
• Excellent classroom management
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• A positive and adaptable approach
