The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.
Our client, based in Cambridge, is looking for a Personal Assistant to join their team on a 6 month FTC. You will be working within a team; providing one on one assistance, and supporting the group. You will be required to manage your own workload and work proactively. You will also be required to work with other team members on certain tasks, such as large client meetings, and providing cover when colleagues are on leave. The role is full time, Monday to Friday and is primarily office based, although there may be some flexibility for part hybrid working if required.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Diary management
* Organising and booking complex national and international travel for team members and clients
* Organising internal and client meetings, and minute-taking of group meetings
* Putting together expense claim forms
* Organisation and logistics for tradeshows and events – working with our client’s Events Team
* Diary planning for annual review meetings
* Preparation of regular financial and operational project reports
* Taking general calls and enquires for the team including responsibility for relaying client messages and passing them to the relevant person.
For this role, it is essential that candidates have the following experience and skills:
* Significant and relevant experience within a similar role
* Proven ability to take minutes
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
* Competency in the use of IT: including email, internet and databases
* High attention to detail
* Excellent organisational and communication skills
* A track record of being proactive, multitasking and able to prioritise and co-ordinate own work
