About the Role
This is not a standard delivery role. You’ll be responsible for the delivery, installation, and basic setup of high-value musical instruments, including pianos, directly into customers’ homes across the UK.
As a senior member of the team, you will work with the wider business to ensure every delivery meets our high standards of service, care, and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver, install, and set up large musical instruments (including pianos) in customer homes
Lead by example, supporting and guiding other drivers on best practice
Provide an exceptional, knowledgeable, and friendly customer experience
Safely handle, position, and assemble equipment where required
Follow delivery routes to ensure efficiency and timeliness
Work closely with Customer Services to deliver a seamless in-house service
Ensure compliance with driving regulations, including tachograph usage
Support training and onboarding of new team members
Your Skills and Experience: What we're looking for
Full, clean UK driving licence with C1 entitlement (7.5T required)
Valid Driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence)
D4 medical (or willingness to obtain) if required
Experience using tachographs and driving 7.5T vehicles
Physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting
Proven experience in delivery and installation or setup of large/bulky items
Strong hands-on ability (DIY skills or technical aptitude essential)
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Musical knowledge desirable — ideally a piano player or strong interest in music
Leadership or team mentoring experience
Flexible to travel nationwide
Additional Requirements
Comfortable operating a range of electric vehicles and 7.5T panel van (tachograph required)
Longer working days may be required depending on location (e.g. long-distance deliveries such as Cornwall)
Occasional overnight stays may be required depending on delivery routes
Flexibility around working hours to accommodate longer/shorter days as required
Full availability during peak trading (mid-November to mid-January)
Hours: Up to 48 hours per week (typically Monday- Friday, 9.00am-6.00pm, with flexibility around shorter and longer days as required)
