We’re working with an internationally established and growing sports business that is looking for a proactive and commercially minded Sales Administrator to join its UK team.

This is much more than a traditional sales administration role.

You’ll sit at the heart of the customer journey, working closely with customers, key accounts, sales, logistics and operations to make sure orders move seamlessly from enquiry through to delivery.

You’ll also have the opportunity to get involved in proactive sales, account development and commercial analysis, making this a fantastic role for someone who wants variety, responsibility and the chance to have a real impact.

What will you be doing?

You’ll be the person helping to keep customers happy, orders moving and opportunities coming through the door.

Managing customer orders from initial order through to successful delivery.

Acting as a key contact for customers, keeping them updated and resolving queries quickly.

Checking stock availability and recommending alternatives when products are unavailable.

Monitoring customer accounts, credit limits and outstanding balances.

Working closely with sales, logistics, credit and operations teams to keep everything running smoothly.

Coordinating invoicing and helping resolve any delivery or order-related issues.

Building strong, long-term relationships with customers and key accounts.

Making proactive outbound calls to existing customers to uncover new sales opportunities.

Monitoring key customer order portfolios and identifying opportunities to grow existing accounts.

Supporting sales campaigns and helping turn customer opportunities into revenue.

Analysing sales and inventory data to identify trends, opportunities and potential risks.

Producing insightful reports to help the commercial team make informed decisions.

Working closely with senior stakeholders to support the ongoing growth of the UK business.

You'll ideally bring:

Previous experience in a customer-facing, sales administration or commercial environment.

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Strong attention to detail and organisational ability.

Confidence working with data and identifying trends or opportunities.

Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.

Experience using an ERP or CRM system.

The ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
