The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.
We are currently recruiting for a Freelance Site Administrator to join a well-established social housing contractor working across the Durham area.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Site Administrator to provide essential administrative support to the site and operational teams, helping ensure projects are delivered efficiently and all documentation is maintained to a high standard.
The Role
As Site Administrator, you will support the Site and Project Management teams with the day-to-day administration of social housing works.
Key responsibilities will include:
Providing general administrative support to Site and Project Managers.
Maintaining accurate project and site records.
Updating spreadsheets, databases and project documentation.
Assisting with timesheets, labour records and subcontractor information.
Raising and processing purchase orders and invoices where required.
Maintaining health & safety and compliance documentation.
Assisting with document control and filing.
Liaising with operatives, subcontractors, clients and internal departments.
Supporting project reporting and general administration.
Ensuring information is recorded accurately and issued within required timescales.
About You
The successful candidate will ideally have:
Previous experience as a Site Administrator, Project Administrator or Document Controller within the construction industry.
Experience within social housing, repairs & maintenance or planned works is advantageous.
Strong organisational and administrative skills.
Excellent attention to detail.
Good IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel and Word.
The ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Strong communication skills and a professional approach.
Experience working within a busy construction or site environment
