Salary: Up to £60,000
The Role
As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll contribute to the design, development, testing, and delivery of sophisticated software solutions supporting complex operational systems. Working within a collaborative engineering environment, you'll help drive technical excellence while supporting project delivery and continuous product evolution.
Key Responsibilities
Support the design, implementation, and testing of software solutions
Guide and mentor Software Engineers across the development lifecycle
Assist with planning, estimation, and project reporting activities
Engage with customers and end users to support ongoing programme development and capability evolutionWhat We're Looking For
Strong software engineering background with experience delivering robust solutions within large-scale, multi-layered distributed systems in a defence environment
Experience supporting software development strategies and technical delivery
Good understanding of the complete software development lifecycle
Knowledge of software delivery methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall
Knowledge of designing safety-critical code for platforms, control systems, power plant management etc.Why Apply?
