Experienced Cat Groomer – Luxury Salon (£35k–£45k OTE, London)

Experienced Cat Groomer required for luxury Fulham salon.
Minimum 3 years professional grooming experience required.
£35,000–£45,000 OTE + commission.

Location: Cooper’s Gang, 833 Fulham Road, SW6 5HQ, London
Hours:

Sunday: 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Monday: 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM

Ideally, the cat appointment will operate 1–2 days per week.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Part-Time Cat Groomer to join our growing luxury team.

This is a client-facing role within a premium salon environment, where patience, technical skill, gentle handling, and exceptional service standards are essential.

You will be responsible for providing outstanding grooming experiences for cats, ensuring every client receives the highest level of care and attention. Experience with dog grooming would be a valuable bonus and may provide opportunities to support our wider grooming services.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver professional, high-quality cat grooming services across different breeds and coat types

Perform cat-specific grooming including styling, coat maintenance, de-shedding, hygiene trims, and mat removal

*

Handle cats confidently and safely while maintaining a calm, stress-free grooming environment

*

Provide exceptional customer service and build long-term relationships with clients

*

Advise owners on coat care, grooming routines, and wellness recommendations

*

Maintain excellent hygiene standards and follow salon safety procedures

*

Support the luxury experience and premium standards of Cooper’s Gang

*

Assist with dog grooming services where qualified and required

What We’re Looking For

2+ years of professional cat grooming experience

*

Strong knowledge of feline behaviour, handling, and grooming techniques

*

Confident working with different cat breeds, coat conditions, and temperaments

*

Skilled in scissoring, styling, de-matting, and precision finishing

*

Patient, gentle, and compassionate approach to cat care

*

Professional, reliable, and client-focused attitude

*

Passion for luxury pet care and maintaining high standards

*

Dog grooming experience is highly desirable but not essential
