HR Business Partner
Hays HR are delighted to be partnering exclusively with a well-established organisation based in Yorkshire to recruit an experienced HR Business Partner on a temporary basis for an initial 3-6 month assignment.
This opportunity has arisen due to an ongoing organisational restructure and will play a key role in supporting managers and employees through a period of change. The successful applicant will take ownership of a varied employee relations caseload while providing professional HR guidance and partnering support across the business.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR professional seeking a challenging interim role with a strong possibility of securing a permanent position for the right individual.
About the Role
As HR Business Partner, you will work closely with operational leaders and senior stakeholders, providing pragmatic and commercially focused HR support. A significant element of the role will involve managing complex employee relations matters arising from organisational change, ensuring fair and legally compliant outcomes.
Key responsibilities will include:
Managing a broad range of employee relations cases including disciplinary, grievance, absence, capability and performance matters.
Coaching and supporting managers to effectively manage people-related issues.
Providing HR guidance during a period of organisational restructuring and change.
Supporting consultation processes and workforce planning activities.
Ensuring HR policies and procedures are applied consistently and in line with employment legislation.
Building strong relationships with stakeholders across the organisation.
Identifying risks and recommending practical HR solutions to support business objectives.About YouTo be successful in this role, you will be an experienced HR professional with a strong background in employee relations and business partnering.
You will be able to demonstrate:
Significant experience managing complex employee relations casework (minimum 3 years)
Previous experience operating at HR Business Partner or Senior HR Advisor level.
Strong knowledge and application of UK employment law and HR best practice.
Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
Experience supporting organisations through periods of change and transformation.
The ability to work autonomously whilst building effective working relationships.CIPD Level 5 qualification or above is highly desirable.
Due to the hybrid nature of the role, applicants must be based within a reasonable commuting distance of the Yorkshire office location and be able to attend site one day per week.
