Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor

Location: Coventry, West Midlands

Salary/Benefits: £27k - £42k + Training & Benefits

Our client is a privately owned Asbestos Consultancy, who have a strong presence in the Midlands. They are recruiting for an experienced and reliable Asbestos Surveyor to service a range of domestic and local authority contracts. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record within the industry, and will be confident in undertaking the range of asbestos surveys and sampling from site. For the successful candidate, they are able to offer excellent further training and development, in addition to competitive salaries and benefits packages (including: company vehicle, overtime and fuel card).

We are seeking someone around the following locations: Coventry, Nuneaton, Hinckley, Leicester, Rugby, Daventry, Northampton, Redditch, Solihull, Droitwich Spa, Birmingham, West Bromwich, Kidderminster, Wolverhampton, Walsall, Worcester, Cannock, Rugeley, Stafford, Tamworth, Burton upon Trent, Stoke-on-Trent, Derby, Nottingham, Leicester.

Experience / Qualifications:

* Good experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor within a UKAS accredited company

* Must hold the BOHS P402 or RSPH equivalent

* Flexible to travel in line with company needs

* Signed off to complete all surveying types

* Good understanding of HSG 264 guidelines

* Strong literacy, numeracy and IT skills

The Role:

* Undertaking management, refurbishment and demolition asbestos surveys

* Conducting re-inspection surveys

* Safely collecting ACM samples

* Producing detailed technical reports and bespoke schematic drawings

* Annotating existing technical site drawings

* Working to set deadlines and personal targets

* Providing updates to clients and appropriate recommendations

* Representing the company in a professional manner
