Reporting to the National Health and Safety Manager, you will be part of a dedicated and experienced safety team. In this role you will:
* Visit sites around the Northern region approximately twice a month in preparation for external ISO 45001 audits.
* Provide health and safety guidance and advice to management and staff through site visits and remote support.
* Ensure all health and safety processes and policies are in place and compliant with legislation, best practice, and business strategies.
* Review safety reporting and provide regular reports on health and safety statistics and performance to management, giving recommendations on areas of focus.
* Monitor reported incidents, supporting management and leading on investigations where appropriate.

* NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent Level 6 qualification.
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to work remotely and autonomously.
* Previous experience in a similar field (charity, care, NHS, local government, support services) is highly desirable.
* Understanding or experience of auditing and management systems.
* Full UK driving licence and ability to travel to sites around the Northern region.
