The Role
As an Area Sales Manager, you'll be responsible for developing relationships with both existing and prospective customers across your territory. You'll work closely with hospitality and leisure businesses, identifying opportunities to introduce products, services and supplier partnerships that deliver real commercial value.
This is a field-based role, combining account management with new business development.
Responsibilities
* Manage and grow an existing portfolio of accounts.
* Identify and win new business opportunities across your territory.
* Build strong relationships with customers and supplier partners.
* Conduct customer meetings and site visits.
* Deliver commercial reviews and identify opportunities for growth.
* Achieve and exceed sales and revenue targets.
* Maintain accurate CRM records and sales pipeline.
* Represent the business at customer meetings and industry events where required.
What We're Looking For
* Previous experience in a field sales, account management or business development role.
* Essential: Experience within the foodservice, food & beverage, FMCG, wholesale or food supplier industry.
* This could include working for a manufacturer, supplier, wholesaler or foodservice business.
* A confident relationship builder with excellent communication skills.
* Commercially driven with a proven ability to win and grow business.
* Self-motivated and able to manage your own diary.
* Full UK Driving Licence.
