We are currently recruiting an experienced Site Manager / Supervisor on behalf of a specialist curtain walling and glazing contractor for an immediate start on a live project in Cornwall. This is a non-working supervisor role overseeing façade and glazing installation works.
Project Details:
Start Date: 02/02/2025
Location: Cornwall
Duration: Ongoing (subject to project requirements)
Working Hours:
Monday–Thursday: 8:00am – 5:00pm
Friday: Finish at 1:30pm
Breaks: 10:00–10:30am and 1:00–1:30pm
Role & Responsibilities:
• Non-working supervisory role
• Managing 4–6 fixers and labourers
• Overseeing installation of windows onto SFS with EPDM frames
• Supervising stick curtain walling installation across three 2-storey buildings
• Carrying out QA checks using BIM360
• Managing health and safety on site
• Implementing and enforcing RAMS
• Liaising with the main contractor and site team
• Ensuring works are completed safely, on programme, and to required quality standards
Requirements:
• SSSTS/SMSTS (essential)
• Gold CSCS Card (essential)
• Proven experience within curtain walling and glazing
• Previous non-working supervisor or site management experience
• Confident managing site teams and documentation
• BIM360 experience preferred
• Reliable, proactive, and available to start immediately
