MB963: Trainee Recruitment Consultant
Location: Gloucester (Quedgeley)
Salary: £25,000 (£30,000 - £35,000 Realistic OTE in first year)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 08:30 to 17:00 (16:00 finish on a Friday)

Overview:

First Military Recruitment are the UK's leading ex-military recruitment consultancy, supporting employers across multiple sectors while helping military veterans and service leavers transition into rewarding civilian careers.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking a motivated and driven individual to join our successful team in Quedgeley, Gloucester. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start or develop a career in recruitment, sales, customer service, or administration within a supportive and rewarding environment.

Working alongside experienced Recruitment Consultants, you will play a key role in identifying, engaging, and qualifying candidates for a wide range of permanent vacancies across the UK. You will receive full training, ongoing support, and the opportunity to earn uncapped commission, with realistic first-year earnings of £30,000 to £35,000.

This role would particularly suit individuals with strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and a desire to build a long-term career in recruitment.

The Role:

Sourcing candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, social media, referrals, and our internal database.
Conducting candidate screening calls and interviews.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
Writing and posting engaging job advertisements.
Matching suitable candidates to live vacancies.
Managing candidate records and ensuring CRM systems remain up to date.
Coordinating interviews and obtaining feedback from candidates.
Supporting Recruitment Consultants with candidate generation and vacancy fulfilment.
Proactively networking with military personnel, veterans, and civilian candidates.
Developing a strong understanding of client requirements and industry sectors.
Working towards individual and team performance targets.

Candidate Requirements:
