Our client is a leading manufacturer of innovative construction products and is looking for an Interim Digitalisation Project Leader to join their team on a 12-month contract!
Roles and Responsibilities:
*
Lead the planning, delivery and successful implementation of digitalisation projects across the business
*
Develop project plans, managing timelines, budgets, risks and stakeholder expectations
*
Drive business transformation initiatives to improve operational efficiency, compliance and process control
*
Identify and implement digital workflows, automation and real-time data management solutions
*
Improve process visibility, reporting capabilities and data accuracy across the business
*
Promote consistency and standardisation of business processes
*
Monitor project progress and provide updates to senior leadership
*
Work closely with Operations, Manufacturing, Quality, Technical, Supply Chain and IT teams
*
Manage external consultants to ensure projects are delivered on time and to the required standard
*
Engage stakeholders, providing guidance and encouraging adoption of new systems and processes
*
Champion Continuous Improvement, innovation and positive business change
*
Maintain a hands-on, site-based presence across multiple locations to understand and improve business processes
*
Build strong working relationships with operational teams to ensure successful project delivery
*
Undertake additional project and business transformation activities as required
Ideal Candidate:
*
Proven experience leading digital transformation or digitalisation projects within manufacturing, engineering or a similar operational environment
*
Strong project management skills with the ability to deliver projects to time and budget
*
Experience improving business processes through automation, digital workflows and process optimisation
*
Good understanding of IT systems, with experience of Microsoft 365; Dynamics 365 Business Central would be advantageous
*
Knowledge of quality management systems, compliance processes and operational controls
*
Experience using reporting and data analysis tools to support business performance
*
Strong Continuous Improvement experience, including process mapping and optimisation
*
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
*
Highly organised, proactive and able to work independently within a fast-paced environment
*
Practical, hands-on approach with strong problem-solving skills
*
Resilient, adaptable and committed to driving positive change across the business
Working Hours and Benefits:
*
Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
*
