Responsibilities and duties of the Asset Manager role
Reporting to the Head of O&M, you will:

Manage the operational performance of a portfolio of renewable energy assets, ensuring contractual performance guarantees and client expectations are met.
Monitor asset availability, performance ratios and operational KPIs, identifying underperformance and coordinating corrective actions.
Act as a key point of contact for customers and asset owners, providing updates on site performance, faults, outages and remedial activities.
Coordinate fault response activities and ensure service level agreements are achieved across the portfolio.
Work closely with engineers, coordinators and subcontractors to maximise asset uptime and operational performance.
Raise and manage purchase orders, quotations, spare part requirements and other asset-related commercial activities.
Analyse operational data and performance trends to identify opportunities for improvement.
Produce performance reports and updates for internal stakeholders, clients and investors.
Utilise and contribute to the development of the company's bespoke asset management and O&M systems.
Support the continued growth and development of the Asset Management function as the portfolio expands.
Participate in future on-call or weekend support arrangements as operational requirements develop.Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:

A minimum of 3 years' experience in Asset Management, Technical Asset Management, O&M Operations, Operations Support or a similar role within the renewable energy sector.
Experience managing utility-scale renewable energy assets, ideally within solar PV or battery storage environments.
Strong understanding of asset performance metrics, availability guarantees and operational reporting.
Experience dealing directly with customers, asset owners and technical stakeholders.
Ability to coordinate engineers and service providers in a fast-paced operational environment.
Experience using asset management, monitoring or CMMS platforms.
Good commercial awareness with an understanding of service delivery and contractual obligations.
A relevant technical or engineering background would be advantageous.
Full UK Driving Licence.Personal skills
