The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

We are looking for a skilled CNC Vertical Machining Centre (VMC) Programmer / Setter / Operator to join our team. The successful CNC Vertical Machining Centre (VMC) Programmer / Setter / Operator will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating CNC Vertical Machining Centres to produce high-quality precision components.
Experience with Mazak machines is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided for the right CNC Vertical Machining Centre (VMC) Programmer / Setter / Operator.
Key Responsibilities
As a CNC Vertical Machining Centre (VMC) Programmer / Setter / Operator, you will:

Program CNC Vertical Machining Centres directly at the machine using engineering drawings.

Set up tooling and load materials into CNC machines, ensuring an efficient production process.
*
Operate CNC machinery to manufacture components with minimal downtime.
*
Carry out first-off and in-process inspections to ensure components meet quality standards.
*
Identify and report drawing discrepancies and recommend improvements where appropriate.
*
Complete all relevant production documentation, including check sheets and job cards.
*
Maintain a safe, clean, and organised working environment.
Skills & Experience
Essential
*
Previous experience as a CNC Vertical Machining Centre (VMC) Programmer / Setter / Operator.
*
Experience programming, setting, and operating CNC Vertical Machining Centres.
*
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
*
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
*
Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
Desirable
*
Experience with Mazak CNC machines (training will be provided if required).
