You will train and teach staff safe operating procedures, update training materials and monitor performance to improve productivity and safety compliance.
There may be a mixture of shifts - days, evening and nights, so you must be flexible across varying patterns.
Key Responsibilities
* Safety & Compliance: Teach and assess Mechanical Handling Equipment (MHE) usage, manual handling, and general health and safety standards.
* Process Optimization: Standardize operating procedures (SOPs) and collaborate with managers to identify performance gaps.
* Record Keeping: Track training progress, maintain up-to-date certifications, and evaluate training effectiveness.
Core Requirements & Qualifications
* Experience: Several years working in a busy warehouse environment, with prior coaching or teaching experience.
* Skills: Strong communication, active listening, basic computer literacy (like Microsoft 365), and organizational skills.
