Operations & Data Improvement Analyst

An established South Devon manufacturer is recruiting an Operations & Data Improvement Analyst.
In this newly developed role, you will have plenty of opportunity to make your mark. Working closely with the Operations Director and teams across the business, you'll use operational data to provide meaningful insight, identify opportunities for continuous improvement and support better business decision-making.
The role as a Operations & Data Improvement Analyst:
You'll be responsible for:
* Developing effective ways to capture, organise and report operational data
* Analysing performance to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
* Supporting the development and monitoring of meaningful KPIs
* Turning analysis into clear recommendations and practical next steps
* Producing clear analysis and reporting to support management decisions
* Working collaboratively across departments to share insight and support improvements
About you as a Operations & Data Improvement Analyst:
We're looking for someone who is naturally analytical, curious and commercially aware, with a practical approach to problem-solving.
You'll bring:
* Strong data analysis and reporting skills
* The ability to interpret information and turn your findings into clear recommendations and actions
* Excellent attention to detail
* An organised and collaborative approach
* Confidence working with colleagues across different areas of a business
* The enthusiasm to help shape a newly developed role
Previous experience within the marine sector isn't essential. What's more important is your ability to make sense of information, ask the right questions and use data to help improve performance.
