The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:
Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Conveyancer to join a well-established and growing law firm based in Harrogate.
This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a supportive and experienced conveyancing team, handling a varied caseload while building strong relationships with clients and local professionals.
The Role
As a Conveyancer, you will be responsible for managing your own caseload from instruction through to completion, dealing with a variety of conveyancing matters including:
* Sales and purchases
* Freehold and leasehold transactions
* Remortgages
* Transfers of equity
* Shared ownership
* Staircasing
* Other conveyancing matters
You will be supported by a dedicated Conveyancing Assistant on a one-to-one basis, along with a modern case management system to help you manage your workload efficiently.
The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will have:
* A minimum of 5 years experience in a similar conveyancing role.
* Experience managing a full and varied caseload of approximately 60-100 files from start to finish.
* Excellent client care and customer service skills.
* Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to work to deadlines.
* Excellent IT skills and experience using a case management system (such as Proclaim, Redbrick, Quill or similar).
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* A good understanding of confidentiality and data protection.
* The ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
* A willingness to support and mentor junior members of staff.
* A full clean driving licence would be advantageous.
